Update: 12:45 AM
Great news, I went in to check on him and the nurse said he had just been awake and was moving around. He was trying to mouth something (probably "take this &@&@"@&! Tube out of my mouth") the nurse introduced herself, told him I was checking on him periodically and then she gave him some more drugs to help him get back to sleep.

ReplyDeleteG'morning, great news! Thanks for letting us know. DKT says so very pleased all has gone so well. Our dogs say, can we jump up on the bed & lick his face just like Riggs? Catch you later.
ReplyDeleteMorning Mike!
ReplyDeleteI met with the Cigar Reps from Ashton today and the chefs for the Father Fred Cigar dinner. They were convinced that without you around to keep me on task, I would just screw the whole dinner up so we took a vote and decided to cancel the dinner.
Just kidding. Your doctors wanted to see how your new valve would hold up as your blood pressure increaed. I suggested telling you that Obama had been impeached while you were in surgery and that GW Bush had to step back in and take the reins, but the doctors said it was too early for that kind of shock.
Peace - Tim
Give him a hug for us. George and Sal
